Laminated glass is made by permanently bonding two or more glass plies with polymer interlayers. If broken, fragments stay attached to the interlayer, so the panel remains in place and keeps providing safety.
Why laminated glass?
- Safe construction that does not shatter apart
- Aesthetic and functional design freedom in curved forms
- Combinable with screen printing, tint and solar control
In curved laminated glass the plies are formed to the same geometry and then typically bonded under heat and pressure in an autoclave. Build and dimensions are defined according to project requirements.
